Record a short video
Three quick questions, about 90 seconds each. It lets us get a feel for you beyond a form, and it's faster than it sounds.
Certifications & references
References are required from every applicant, and we follow up directly when a profile calls for a closer look. If you also carry certifications, training, or insurance, we take those into account, though none are required to apply.
We review
A real person goes through your application, video, and references. This is the step that keeps the bar high. If it's a fit, you move on to the last step.
Background check & profile
Once you've passed our review, we run your background check, on us for founding sitters, and you finish your profile: services, neighborhoods, and your own rates. Then you're ready for bookings.

Is it really application-only?
Yes. Every sitter is reviewed before they show up to a single owner. It's not about being exclusive for its own sake — that shared standard is what protects your reputation and earns owners' trust.
How do you keep sitters safe?
Owners aren't anonymous here. Every owner needs a real profile photo, and they can opt in to verify their ID as well — we cover the cost of that, because keeping sitters safe matters to us. The way in is the same for every sitter: a real application, a short video, and references. A real person reviews all of it, and once you've passed that review, we run a background check before your first booking. You always choose which bookings to take.
What does it cost me?
Applying is free, and founding sitters get their background check covered. On completed bookings, your founding commission is locked at 15% and won't rise as we grow. You always set your own prices.
Do you provide insurance or bonding?
Not right now. We encourage every sitter to carry their own insurance or bonding. It protects you and the families you care for, and it makes for a safer setup all around.
Do you do dogs and cats?
Both, fully. Dog walks come with GPS routes and potty logs. Cat drop-ins track litter, feeding, and behavior. Each report card fits the animal in front of you, and cat care gets the same depth as dog care. That's not a given everywhere.
